Crème de cacao is a cacao (chocolate bean) flavoured liqueur with a smooth chocolate and vanilla bean flavour and a dark mahogany colour It is different from chocolate liqueur, which is usually sweeter and more syrupy. Crème de cacao is available in both dark and white (clear) varieties where colour is their only difference.
